Lesson includes: - TPS starter - 3D learning objectives and differentiated outcomes - TPS card sort (print and cut out the slide) - Pros/cons of interfaith marriage: video activity (pupils record in bullet points/mind map) - Team challenge - pupils have to answer the questions using the sheet provided For this activity, you print the information off (ideally in A3) and put it in three or four places in the room. Pupils have to come up, one at a time, read as much information as they can in 1 minute and return to their table with (hopefully) some answers to the questions! - Exam practise, including some exam technique hints - 3 things to remember... Knowledge organiser for revision and information for the Study of Christianity - Beliefs, Teachings and Practices, as part of the GCSE AQA syllabus. It includes key information; case studies and examples; Christian teachings; exam requirements and technique and key vocabulary. It can be used for independent revision, to aid a structured revision timetable and in lessons. My own students have these glued in their books and are encouraged to refer to them during our learning. At the end of the unit, students are asked to go over the statements and highlight (RAG) their knowledge and understanding of the topics, thereby revealing key areas for revision.
